Our BB5000 Line Bore Machines have a diameter range from 38mm to 610mm. Boring strokes up to 914mm. Compact, powerful, highly versatile portable boring bars for blind boring and align boring in a wide variety of applications. Feed and rotational direction are reversible. Various sizes of feed screws, boring bars, and tool heads can be combined for a wide variety of applications. Self-centering setup cones enable quick alignment of the bars. We have accessories available for automatic bore welding, facing, trepanning, etc.
Compared to some competitive machines, the BB5000 Portable Boring bar will fit into some pretty tight places. A minimum clearance of about 600mm is required to mount the rotational drive unit and axial feed unit. If there is room to slide the bar into the bores and a place to tack weld the mounting plate, we can most likely use the machine in your application. Another space-saving feature is the ability to mount the rotational drive and the axial feed any place on the bar.
