WALDUBA Engineering supplies a range of round inflatable pipe plugs with the following features:
• All sizes available from 2” to 60” diameter
• All brass and stainless steel fittings
• Car tyre valve air connection
• No parts that can rust
• Pipe plugs are manufactured from natural or nitrile rubber
• Entire bladder is vulcanised using no adhesives
• Cloth covers are made from polyester, all seams are triple sewn
• Cloth pulling-loops already attached
• Standard inflation hose is 914mm long
• Hose extensions kits and air pressure gauges are available
During the fabrication process the entire rubber plug is totally vulcanised, every plug is inflated and carefully tested for any signs of leakage. All plugs are made to ensure a snug fit, assuring a secure Shut-off of the pipe when inflated. The inflating valves and fittings are brass and stainless steel, Therefore no parts can rust. Plugs are inflated inside an oil, gas or water pipeline to temporarily stop the flow of liquids, fumes or vapours. For example, isolating hydrocarbons from welding areas.
